Elizabeth Fry, angel to the poor and imprisoned
Hannah, unselfish mother

I am 100% going to buy this book for my daughter and for my classroom.  This is an amazing collection of women of the faith!  Amazing examples of women who made a difference through PRAYER and ACTION!  It includes women from the Bible as well as historical figures that had strong faith and made a difference.  Every two pages is devoted to one woman with a beautiful illustration, a brief history of the woman pictured, a Bible verse and a suggestion for how you can pray like "she prayed!"

I loved this book! This was a great example of empowering girls through faith & prayer to take action and do great things for the world!  Great book of history and inspiration for our girls!
5 powerful, praying & world-changing stars!

YOU need this book if you have a daughter or a girl in your life to share it with!  It will inspire her to prayer and to live her faith like these great women!

Pray & Do Service Projects!
Pray through the suggestions in the book!  Have your child write a song-prayer for God (like Deborah).  Or write a poem about God or helping others (like Phyllis Wheatley).
Brainstorm ideas with your children for service projects!  Choose to do something that will be meaningful for them.
Ideas: Blessing bags/donations for homeless (helping like Elizabeth Fry).  Blessing bags or thank you cards for healthcare workers, police officers, firefighters, & other essential workers.  Put together Operation Christmas Child boxes.  Sew masks to donate.  Any other ideas?
