This week on That Artsy Reader Girl's blog, Top Ten Tuesday is 10 Books That Need A Netflix Series! I thought sci-fi/adventure and mysteries would make the best series/mini-series. To me, a book needs a lot of action to be able to be made into a mini-series without dragging. By the way, if you haven't read any of these, they are all awesome books! :)
1. She Has A Broken Thing Where Her Heart Should Be by J.D. Barker
2. 11/22/63 by Stephen King
3. The Stand by Stephen King
4. Recursion by Blake Crouch
5. The Dreamers by Karen Thompson Walker
6. And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie
7. The Nothing Man by Catherine Ryan Howard
8. Kindred by Octavia E. Butler
9. Sigma Force series by James Rollins
10. The Girl Before by J.P. Delaney
The Stand was made into a miniseries maybe 30 years ago? It's a little slow but still a good watch.
ReplyDeleteAnd 11/22/63 was made into a show, too, I believe.
But Kindred would make an awesome film.
My post .
Really? I'll have to look them up! Thanks, Lydia.
DeleteAgreed - I need action to keep me interested in a series! RECURSION is a great book. Mind-bending, for sure.
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT!
